@ Missy: I am glad I amuse you too! I agree with what you say about OMg and whilst it is nothing bad, I know Marc has other more important ways to spend his time than sitting at his PC. He does keep plugging away at it from time to time but really should has considered the amount of work involved before getting into this I feel. He is perhaps going to be better off going about his smaller niche sites quietly, then no one will care if he is out on his rocky mountains all day long!

I’m also glad to see that my Sitepoint name is common knowledge, I guess posting what I was working on in my sidebar made me a bit easier to find. As a favor, can we please not go sharing that with anyone else? All it takes is one loser to ruin an auction.

My name before that was onemansgoal, and you can see a bit of my sales history there too. Had to can that name, because I constantly got people questioning whether I was Marc or not.

Just a quick tip though, I don’t always sell at Sitepoint. There are types of blogs that perform well there, and others that can be sold for more at other places.

You’re so much more than that. (wink wink) I also think of you as the “British bloke who does BANS”. lol. You’re so funny, AP. You crack me up.

I see that you’re quite busy. It is insane what we do all day long, isn’t it? Hopefully all this time WE spend behind our laptops will soon pay off.

I think the poor guy needs loads and loads of help. But he also doesn’t strike me, as super motivated. I’m not saying anything bad about him, i just we wish he would ask for help.

It’s not all about affiliate marketing you know

Well done on your sale, I just saw that over at Jay’s House. Did you manage to get bloggerssearch sold in the end? I heard you had problems?!?

Oh…and as a PS. I noticed your adsense blocks at the top were displaying wordpress set-up ads which is direct competition to your own service. Just an observation!

Well fact is i tend to throw myself nilly willy into things and then later i realize i should have done this, done that, etc.

I started blogging back in March 2007, and it was just for fun. It wasn’t till about 6 months ago or so, that i started to take it seriously and try to make some money with it.

Had i monetized earlier, or from the get go, i probably would be making more now. But all is good. Everything happens for a reason, and i have zero regrets.

The best part of this whole blogging and MMO stuff, is working from home. I love that. I’m nowhere near where i need to be just yet. But i can see the light.

The thing with you is that you have, what i call “identifiable skills”. You are a site designer, or web designer, etc. That is very cool.

My skills are not so readily identified. Lots of people know what a website is, and what website design is. But not blogging, site flipping, domain names, SEO, etc. So you get my drift. I’m a mystery to lots of mainstream people, as far as what i do for a living.

Of course, i don’t use any of those terms to describe what i do. I simply say i do freelance writing on the web. So much easier, and people don’t look at you like you’re a martian. LOL.

Anywho, i’m now totally rambling. I’m actually quite excited, as i hooked my first webhosting referral, and made a nice commission on that. Plus sold a site of mine. Today is a good day! Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
