I am not even using twitter, even though I have an account and am probably missing quite a lot there. I always tell myself it’s time to get on twitter, but I am far too lazy to jump on that bandwagon as well… There are too many social media outlets for me nowadays.

  4. Nice to see some new ones. I keep seeing the same everywhere.

  5. Missy says:

Smash Ill: You’re right there are a ton of social media outlets now. I”ve never really been big on the two most popular ones – Myspace and Facebook. But Twitter has really got a hold of me. It is fun and addicting.

The icons above were made for twitterholics. (like me) LoL. Thanxs for the visit.

Bloggers Source:  Hey, nice to see you. I specifically wanted these to be different, hence the RED BROWN and GREEN colors. (hehe)

I like the different. It is way more fun. Glad you enjoyed my twitter icon set. Do tell your friends.

    Talk soon.

Really very cute. I have been seeing it everywhere.  I am very active to the twitter community, and I’ll be inviting friends to join the community as well.

  7. Missy says:

    Cheers.

  8. Missy says:

If you’re using any of these icons on your site, i would really like to see them. Post your links below and i might even feature you on the blog. A nice PR 3 link would come your way. Do share your URL with me.

P.S. A few people have taken me up on the offer, to tweet this to their peeps. Thanks so much for spreading the word. I appreciate it.

Hi, Ben:  Hey, nice to see you stop on by. Hope all is well. Cheers.

The social media I like best are probably stumbleupon, good old chat clients like IRC, MSN or ICQ and blogs which are the uber social media ;) I guess I will go heads up with twitter the next weeks, but I guess it can be very time consuming or not?

  13. Missy says:

Hi, Smash Ill: Twitter is what you make it. But one thing i can say about it is that unless you grow your following, you wont have anyone to interact with, and it will get stale fast. The whole point of Twitter is to network.

So after establishing an account, next step is to add followers. This way Twitter will be alot more fun.

P.S. I rec’d your folllow request and have added you. Peace.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

  14. 11% of the adults? WOW….. then I must be in those 89% of almost-adults who log in once in a while….

Anyway, nice icons, Missy. Did you do it yourself?

    Yan

  15. Missy says:

Hey, Yan: That 11% stat is pretty nuts but considering the Myspace and Facebook stat, it makes perfect sense. I read somewhere that like 40,000 new Facebook accts are opened everyday. 40,000 new ones daily. Wow. Social media and social networking is what people want and it makes sense as the net (at times) can be very lonely and or remote.

Glad you like my twitter icons, suweet. And no i didn’t design them myself, my twitter design guy created them for me.

  16. Some nice icons.

I looked all over and I eventually made my own, it has a twitter bird with a board that says ‘Follow me!’ with a small pic of myself.

  17. Missy says:

Hi, George: You should have left a link of the avatar, for us to see. I love looking at new and cool Twitter icon badges. Do share.

    And Happy TGIF!

  22. I’m a big fan of the third icon.

If I used twitter at all, I’d be sure to use that one! Perhaps I should jump on the bandwagon, I keep hearing about it in the news and from friends.

  23. Dan says:

I like the fourth one. I don’t even use twitter! Jeez, im so behind the times lol… 11% is a hug number though
