With the release of a NEW! widget, called TwitterCounter, you can now display your twitter follower count on your blog.

Just like the Feedburner chicklet displays the number of your RSS subscribers, the chicklet from TwitterCounter, will display (in similar fashion) the number of followers you have through Twitter.

Simple, quick to install, and free…this is a neat add on for your blog. They have also assembled a Top 100, which showcases the most popular Twitterers, as determined by number of followers.

Checking out my RSS feed, i notice a slew of cool contests for bloggers this weekend. Im going to round some up below. What’s up for grabs? Some bloggers are giving away everything from EC credits to domain books and services, from SEO consultations to banner ads, and of course, good ole hard cash. Oh, and Mike from Bloggin-Ads is giving away the creme de la creme of prizes, not 1 - but 2 MacBook Air laptops. Sweetness!
