Groovy Vegetarian Regains PR Again
Mar 18th
One of our network blogs, Groovy Vegetarian, has regained the infamous Google Pagerank. The blog lost it sometime back in December, and just regained it on or about March 11th. I’m late (as usual) in reporting news, but better late than never.

The blog initially was at PR 4, then down to 0, now sits at PR 2. Pagerank is pretty much like a roller coaster ride, up and down, and side to side. Regardless i’m happy with the current status of the blog, and as i’m being ever more vigilant of what i slap on it, the rank should only get better.
So its a celebration, but a small and cautious one. To read what is the latest in the vegetarian lifestyle, head on over to the blog.
Till next update,
Missy.
PhotoDropper NEW WordPress Plugin
Feb 22nd
Do you use photos on every blog post? If so, then PhotoDropper, a new wordpress plugin, is going to be a big time saver for you.
Essentially with the wordpress plugin PhotoDropper, you are able to search and add FLICKR photos right from your WordPress dashboard. It searches (via keyword) within the Creative Commons licensed photos, the ones made available for shared use. Then with 1-click you are able to add the photo (complete with attribution link) to your blog post. See sample photo below, keyword = wordpress.

photo credit: TitanasPhotoDropper is extremely handy for those of us bloggers, who use photos in every blog post, and/ or who have several blogs to photo-rize. Simply download, activate as usual in your WordPress dashboard, and that’s pretty much it. The plugin is free and if you use photos alot, this is a must have blog tool for you.
Visit the photodropper plugin page here.

WordPress Theme: Structure
Dec 20th
More than half of the blogs that belong to G34 Media are WordPress blogs with a small percentage on Blogger.
If you run a blog (or blogs) then you will surely fall in love with WordPress and it’s many features. One issue you will have early on is deciding amongst the plethora of wordpress themes available. There are both free WP themes and also paid versions of WP themes. Let me quickly tell you about Structure from Justin Tadlock, a free WP theme.
I’m really digging this wordpress theme Structure by Justin Tadlock. It is a magazine style theme with great composition, layout, and cool web 2.0 features such as video embed, an image gallery, and prominent 125×125 ad placeholders.
You can tell when a blogger designs a WP theme because they throw in (blogger specific extras) like Justin has done. You will find several useful wordpress plugin’s built in the theme. This one is hot and did i mention it’s 100% free. Also should you need any help, Justin has a support forum open to everyone.
Looking for a modern WordPress theme? Try Structure by Justin Tadlock.
Or Try A WordPress Theme Club
Have you heard of wordpress theme clubs? You pay an annual fee (anywhere between 20 to 40 dollars) and you get access to a variety of premium exclusive designs.
Take a look at these premium wordpress themes by Elegant WordPress. The cost to join the club is an annual $20 fee and you get access to all the premium themes on the site. My favorite theme at Elegant is Who’s Who and eVid, a theme for video bloggers. It is well worth the 20 bucks.
Or Try A Fee Based WordPress Theme
